43-year-old female
History
A 43-year-old female with a history of ovarian cancer.
CT Findings
CT scan was reported as normal, and her CA-125 levels were equivocal.
PET Findings
The whole-body FDG PET scan showed increased metabolic lesions in the pelvis. These lesions were interpreted as metastatic disease.
Dosage
8.8 mCi FDG, 6 bed positions

Change in treatment plan
As a result of the PET scan findings, the patient will undergo additional therapy, which will be followed up with another PET scan to assess treatment effectiveness. The follow-up scan showed remission in all known tumor sites.
