65-year-old male
History
A 65-year-old male with a history of tongue cancer. Patient undergoing radiation treatment and chemotherapy.
MRI Findings
1.0 cm right cervical and 1.8 cm left submandibular lymph node is noted, no enhancing invasive mass seen in the tongue base.
PET Findings
No PET correlation for the lymph nodes seen in the neck noted on the recent MRI. No evidence of recurrent or metastatic malignancy.

Change in treatment plan
Based on the PET findings, the patient required no additional treatment for tongue cancer, despite the abnormal findings of the MRI.
