Esophageal Cancer - 81-year-old

History
Patient is an 81-year-old male, newly diagnosed with esophageal adenocarcinoma.

CT Findings
A CT scan was performed which revealed abnormalities in the liver. This was followed by a liver biopsy which was negative.

PET Findings
The PET study demonstrates intense FDG uptake in the known esophageal tumor as well as multiple metastatic lesions in the liver. These findings will change the course of treatment.
